For buyers in Japan, prices include tax (consumption tax). You pay in Japanese yen, converted at the rate on the day of each payment. The yen amount is shown on the payment page.
Other costs
Your internet connection and data charges are yours. Some card issuers add a foreign transaction fee.
How you pay
A credit or debit card, or another method shown on the payment page. Payments are taken by Stripe (Link), which may sell to you as our reseller (the merchant of record).
When you pay
A plan is paid when you sign up, then renews and is charged automatically on the same day every month (every year for the yearly Collector plan) until you cancel. With a free trial, the first payment falls at the moment the trial ends. Extra credits are paid when you buy them.

Right after you sign up (a free trial included) or pay.

Free trial and automatic renewal
Eligible buyers get a 7-day free trial that starts with a card. The trial costs nothing. Unless you cancel before it ends, it becomes the plan you chose, and the plan renews and is charged every month until you cancel (a subscription). We email you 3 days before the trial ends.
Cancelling
Choose Cancel plan on your Account page, in one step, any time. Cancel before the free trial ends and nothing is charged. Cancel during a paid period and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, with no further charges. There is no deadline and no fee to cancel.
Returns and refunds
A digital service that has started can't be returned. But for 7 days after a plan payment you can choose Refund my last payment on your Account page and get back the part of that payment whose credits you haven't used (once every 90 days; the plan ends at once).
