Why this exists
My best friend's daughter is blind. When I was showing him comics, she wanted to hear what was in the panels. It made me realize there is hardly a medium more locked away from blind and low-vision readers than comics.
So that is what I build for. The dialogue voiced, the sound effects you drew played out loud, descriptions of what is drawn, and a reader that works by keyboard and screen reader. Your book can be one they finally get to read.
What your book gets
Every character cast with their own synthetic voice and every line performed with the emotion on the page, not one narrator droning through your script. The sound effects you drew become real audio, ambient soundscapes bed every scene, and a score follows your story. Panel-by-panel framing with cinematic pans plays your pages like a storyboard waking up, on any phone, tablet or browser. And because a voiced comic can be followed with your eyes shut, blind and low-vision readers can finally read you: an audience no print run ever gave you.
From your table to the shelf
Send it in: your name, your book, a link to it. We produce the full edition, the cast, the sound, the score, the camera, and you hear it first. Sign off and your book premieres on the shelf with its own page and a share link you can post anywhere.
Your book stays yours
You grant a non-exclusive permission to host and stream the edition we produce. Ownership never moves, the production costs you nothing, and your comic comes off the shelf whenever you say so. No exclusivity, no minimum term.
Straight answers
Are the voices real actors?
No, the voices are synthetic. Hiring actors to perform every line of every book, and to describe every panel for blind readers, is not possible for a small team, and it is why most indie comics never get an audio edition at all. You hear every voice first, and nothing goes live without your sign-off.
What does it cost me?
Nothing. We produce the edition and host it, because great books make the shelf better. You never pay us a cent.
What do you need from me?
A finished comic and your permission. CBZ, CBR or PDF is perfect; if it lives online, a link is enough to start. We sort the rest out over email.
Do I give up any rights?
No. You grant a non-exclusive, revocable permission to host and stream the edition we produce. Ownership never moves: your comic stays yours everywhere else, and you can pull it from the shelf whenever you like.
What kind of books fit?
Finished issues you hold the rights to: indie books, small press runs, webcomic collections, one-shots, any genre. If it earned a spot on your table at a con, it has a spot here.

How do you write alt text for comics?
Describe it panel by panel, in reading order: who is in the panel, what they are doing and where, then the words in each balloon and caption with who says them, and the sound effects. Mention the mood when the art carries it. A comic page is a complex image, so the W3C's images tutorial suggests a short alt text plus a longer description. LiveComics can also add panel descriptions to your edition, spoken just before each panel's voiced lines.
